Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). The full narration is as follows: “The Masjids are the houses of Allah in the earth, which shine to the inhabitants of the sky just as the stars shine upon the inhabitants of the earth”.... (Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 10608 and Shu’abul Iman, Hadith: 2687, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 2 pg. 7)
