What I wanted to add is: I don't think it's a good idea to have a forum like just yet... When you announce the site to be ready - it's still not ready. lol
You update, inshaAllah, and maybe when you have a forum you get too busy keeping it under control, while the site itself becomes un-updated..
Like I myself would prefer to get the site really with lots of stuff and being happy with layout etc. Then maybe [a long time] later, make a forum.. But if you go with the blog idea, people can comment there about the stuff and a forum wouldn't be really needed [if you consider there are lots of forums anyways].
Just my two cents.

i think ill have the forum but as i said...put it up in a couple of weeks...Insha'Allah with the brilliant team i have...the site will be updated all the time...the actual site is first priority, then comes the forum...
