That's what kuffar fear and are waging their war on Islam to stop the coming of the Khalifah. They plan and Allah plans and Allah is best of the planners!

Re: How the Islamic state (and rule) was destroyed

This is a clearly one-sided documentary.
Think about it really. If an Islamic state hadn't declined internally a couple of missionaries and funding of nationalist movements could not have weakened it.
And from what I understood the documentary claims Europeans had been sending nationalist infiltrators for centuries before they had any effect in the 18th and 19th century, which is laughable as nationalism in Europe didn't even start before that.
Plus, the Islamic world was divided many times in history.
Muslims hold the blame for the decline of the Muslim world, there's no need to put it on the west. It is obvious that colonialism weakened it, but then, Muslims shouldn't complain about it to much, as they themselves had been colonizing the world for almost an entire millennium.

Re: How the Islamic state (and rule) was destroyed

Another interesting note is that the documentary, while professionally done and watchable, has music almost the entire time, which I am told is unislamic. It is obvious the documentary would be much less appealing and convincing without it.
I wanted o include this in my first post but I haven't reached the 50 posts margin yet.

The facts are facts, deny all you want. perhaps you didn't pay attention properly, it was the kuffars incitiated the divide and conquer strategy in order to bring down the ottomon empire. They instilled nationalistic ideas in the ignorants and the traitors. They supported the western boot lickers and empowered them. So the Ottoman did not have the power to deal with outside kuffar attacks and internal growing rebellions funded by the outsider. Once the Ottoman empire fell, what did the kuffars do? come in and divide up the land among themselves and started colonizing it. The difference between spreading of Islam and colonizing of the west is the the west comes to plunder and steal you resources, kill your people, oppress them into slavery and force their own religious dogma onto the colonizing lands. Many of the nations that Islam spread too were calling the Muslims to come and take over their lands so they could get some relief from the tyrants ruling over them. Why don't you go study proper history and not the lies your western gov'ts have weaved all these centuries...

Only Allah knows when the next khalifah will be established. We can observe the signs given in the ahadith and prepare ourselves. Interestingly enough shk awlaki stated that it is very likely that we will see it inshallah within next 50 years given the state of the ummah and the world.

I think the area suitable for emergence of Khilafah is that of Afghanistan/Pakistan. The religious element is extremely strong there among the spiritually enlightened Muslims and the US evil is trying everything to battle with the hearts and minds of the Muslim youth in Pakistan through secular education , cultural transformation and media availability. Secular schools are holding ground in the region to impart science education and doubts regarding Creation vs Evolution are spreading like hot fire. Youth is leaving the faith brought Muhammad bin Abdullah (saw) and proudly boasting about zina is becoming a norm.

Other hotbeds for emergence of Khilafah could be Yemen or Somalia.

Pakistan used to be a moderate nation with everyone on the same level, not too religious or too secular but still modest and decent. Today there is a very definitive line being drawn between the religiously committed and secular western wannabees. I guess Allah is doing what the prophet (S) said, dividing people into two groups. Either you are a slave who submits or your not. There's also a hadith that India will be conquered and the army that conquers it will go to paradise and muslim with black turbans will rise and be undefeated (or something like that), and i read an article while back from a shk stating these black turban fighers are those in afghan/pak who will emerge and start defeating the kuffar armies. I speculate that the kuffars will invade or try to invade pakistan (which they are doing now) and will face the same fate as the russians did inshallah. There are over 1 million tribal pashtun from all over pakistan who are ready to stand up and fight at any given day given the command from their leaders. When all these people stand up and start fighting, we may see them taking afghan back, pakistan back and move into india to conquer it as well.

There are mujahideen fighting all over the world so when time comes i believe they will all come together under one leadership (mahdi) and it will be the strong muslim army (inshallah) with well experience fighters ready to take anyone on. This is what the kuffars fear and the rise of the khalifah and thus we see the war on islam today.

Re: How the Islamic state (and rule) was destroyed

    salaam

The west played a huge part in the destruction of the Ottoman empire. Just learn about what happend to the previous ottoman territories after the war l=eg -Palestine,Iraq,Syria etc - quite disgraceful realy - puppet governments to keep the arabs in control- the arabs were stupid enough to follow them.

Do you think the pious don't sin?

    They merely:
Veiled themselves and didn't flaunt it
    Sought forgiveness and didn't persist
Took ownership of it and don't justify it
And acted with excellence after they had erred - Ibn al-Qayyim

Nope. Facts are not facts. This is an islamist documentary, as far as I am concerned it is as credible as Geert Wilder’s Fitnah. But let’s most of what is true, I’m not denying it, just questioning it. If the Ottoman empire could be destroyed by a couple of missionaries and funding of anticaliphate organizations it was either weakened internally before or not much of a state and Islam not much of a connecting force. The Arab nationalism is by far not the only reason for the internal weakness of the Ottoman empire. The latter was not only comprised of Muslims, rather it occupied several nations of different faiths who wished freedom.
The documentary properly the Otomans made the mistake of joning the Axis power which gave the Alliance a legal and legitimate reason to occupy its former lands, which pretty soon gained independence anyway.
French and Brittish colonialism of the 19th century are nothink like you describe. There was no slavery, there was no Christianization, and stealing of resources could be debatable. Muslim took slaves too, they made the laws of their religion the official standard, which the French and the British didn’t, and Muslims took resources too.
And as obvious from the documentary, the Arabs were calling the British, regardless of who arouse the nationalistic feelings in them. Besides theres Armenians and other Christians, the British didn’t send missionaries there yet they revolted anyway and paid dearly for it.
Why don’t you go study history too. As much as you despise what you call western propaganda, you should look into Islamic propaganda from day to day.

Re: How the Islamic state (and rule) was destroyed

    Salaam

    Thought this was interesting

In this way Mustafa Kemal fulfilled the four conditions which Curzon, the British Foreign Secretary has demanded, and the impediment preventing the convening and the success of the peace conference no longer existed. Hence on the 8th of March 1924, Ismat Pasha Turkeys foreign minister and head of the delegation, sent a letter to the conference requesting the resumption of negotiations, and the Allies agreed. On 23rd April 1924, the conference was reconvened and the conferees agreed upon peace term. The Lausanne Treaty was signed on 24th July 1924. The states recognized Turkeys independence, Britain evacuated Istanbul and the straits and Harrington left Turkey. Consequently, one of the British MPs protested against Curzon in the House of Commons for recognising Turkeys independence. Curzon answered him by saying:

'The point at issue is that Turkey has been destroyed and shall never rise again, because we have destroyed her spiritual power: the Khilafah and Islam.'
I think this is relating to the same topic

"We must put an end to anything which brings about any Islamic unity between the sons of the Muslims. As we have already succeeded in finishing off the Khilafah, so we must ensure that there will never arise again unity for the Muslims, whether it be intellectual or cultural unity"

Lord Curzon, British Foreign Minister, infront of the House of Commons after the Lausanne Treaty of July 24th 1924
If you want books to understand Western imperialism and its designs.

    Year 501 - Noam Chomsky

Noting that the current period has much in common with the Colombian Age of Imperialism, during which Western Europe conquered most of the world, Chomsky focuses on various historical moments in this march of imperial power, up to and including the current axis where the U.S., Germany, and Japan share world economic control with the U.S. reveling in a monopoly of military might.

The Great War for Civilisation: The Conquest of the Middle East

This is first of all a book about war -- in particular, the wars that have scarred the Middle East, from Afghanistan to Algeria, throughout the author's long career as a correspondent for the London Times and then the Independent. It switches back and forth across the 20th century in a way that seems driven more by stream of consciousness than by any linear design, and, as befits its topic, it is a book of almost unremitting violence. The author presents himself both as unflinching witness and implacable judge of the events he recounts, for he believes that he is telling a story of unrelenting perfidy and betrayal -- in part a story of Middle Easterners being betrayed by themselves and their leaders, but mostly one of the Middle East being betrayed by the power, greed and arrogance of the West.
