Also can anyone recommend good websites that mention prayer and the significance it has in Islam.

Just a suggestion. You may want to explain a bit about what is meant by prayer and du'a. Many relegions have a different concept of prayer than we have and for many our concept of du'a is more like their concept of prayer.
