Should I seek a source of law other than God, when it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (Qur'an) fully explained? And those whom We have given them the Book know that it has been sent down from the Lord with truth, so be not of those in doubt.

Anyone who sincerely seeks knowledge is a knowledge traveler. in my opinion. Learning is one of the best tools we can develop in order to exercise our free will.
One might ask here what does it mean if you know something? For example if I say I know what Ohm's law is does means I can just recite it or to prove that I know it I must be able to use it? I would argue that unless you USE your knowledge to do something then you don't really know it.
I can recite from the Qu'ran in Arabic but that does not mean I know it does it?
