though I don't follow any mazhab,but if I to vote for a mazhab to be the most sophisticated ,dependable ,would be without doubt Shafi'i mazhab which attracted the famous scholars as Imam al-Bukhari
* Imam Muslim
* Imam Nasa'i
* Imam Bayhaqi
* Imam Tirmidhi
* Imam Ibn Majah
* Imam Ibn Hibban
* Imam Daraqutni
* Imam Tabari (who later became independent Mujtahid)
* Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani
* Imam Abu Dawud
* Imam Nawawi
* Imam As-Suyuti
* Imam Ibn Kathir
* Imam Dhahabi
* Imam Al-Hakim
all of those were shafie mazhab in fikh and most following Ash'ari theology in creed ,and many other famous scholars....
regarding Prayer I advice you follow no mazhab ...read soon this unique book in prayer.,...

I've got this book too! I thought there are some differences between the schools so I asked! I mean, I want to fully follow the way of this madhab.
