TIME'S TICKING

The ink has dried
Have you even tried?
To please your Lord
Before you die

Did you make your prayers
Did you cover your hair
Put away those tights
And wore your flares

The pens were lifted
Were your eyes always drifted
From the harmful scenes
Did your heart ever shift it

You're at your last breath
Are you ready for death
Did you repent for your sins
Or indulge in your stress

Right now's the time
Death has no expectation
I surely don't know mine
Except that my lifetime has a limitation
