Halal is that which is permissible and acceptable.

Re: What is the definition of Halal and Haram?

Halal = something that God has allowed us to do. for example marriage, eating meat that has been killed with his name mentioned over it.

Haraam = something bad that he has forbidden to us like adultry, sexual relations outside of marriage and eating meat that was killed and his name wasn't mentioned over it before it was killed.
