Survey on the wearing of the Niqab and Hijab
by Muslim Women in NSW

This survey is being undertaken by the MWA to ascertain NSW Muslim women’s views on the wearing of the niqab and hijab, and the impact that a proposed NSW law may have on Muslim women. All responses will be confidential. We anticipate that it would take only 10 minutes to complete this survey and your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

We would appreciate your returned responses by Monday August 23rd. This is to allow the survey to be used as part of our Campaign against the proposed NSW law, which includes taking your views to a briefing of members of the NSW Parliament in September. Thus we urge you to fill in this important survey and take this opportunity to have your say on this issue. Please note that whilst this survey is about hearing the views of Muslim Women, we also welcome the participation of Muslim men and encourage them to fill in the survey where relevant.
