(CBS) There's a new video that some say may be proof we're not alone in the universe.
On "The Early Show," co-anchor Jeff Glor reported a supposed UFO, in the form of a bright light, is seen descending over the historic Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.
Then suddenly, the light shoots up into the sky.
Another video, from a different angle, appears to show the light doing the same thing.
The video is said to have been taken Jan. 28. The clips have since gone viral. You can check them out for yourself below:
A UFO has been spotted hovering over one of the holiest sites in Islam, the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
It is the place where the prophet Muhammad is said to have ascended to heaven, built on top of a site sacred to Judaism.
The event was captured on camera by an American tourist and posted on YouTube.
It could easily be dismissed as a hoax, but someone else filmed what appears to be same event from a different angle.
The glowing ball of light dropping until it hangs just over the Dome of the Rock, before suddenly shooting off as if disturbed.
Yahoo news don't usually post this kind of stuff, their always serious when it comes to News. And I've been doing alot of searching recently, no one's proven anything yet, there's just alot of mixed responses, some think it's real others think it's a hoax.
It's also interesting that the video was shot by an American tourist and from another angle by a completly different person, showing the same thing.
Do you guys think it's real or fake? I at first assumed it was a hoax, like most of these UFO type things are and usualy there's always a refute to them, but I havn't seen any in this case. Anyone know more info about this?
I was looking at myself talking to myself and I realized this conversation...I was having with myself looking at myself was a conversation with myself that I needed to have with myself.
Sadly there were many red flags popping up over this. At least 4 similar videos were made. But, none were ever sent to any News service, they were all put up on YouTube anonymously. Stop and think Billy Bob living down on the Bayou in south Louisiana thinks he sees a ufo. Tells all of his friends gets all kinds of offers for an interview and retires on what Fox pays him for exclusive rights to the story. Here we have at least 4 different people, with what could be the most Dramatic story in modern times and oddly all 4 put their video up on youtube without even attmpting to sell the story to a magazine, TV station or other paid media. They put it up anonymously on youtube. That should be a big red flag to most people.
Next we have a bright light, Yet, there is no glare from the light reflecting off the Gold Dome. Another red flag.
