Skills Required
As a management post the job demands a level of responsibility and requires excellent organisational skills as well as the ability to make decisions autonomously.
Experience Required
No specific experience is required, but any form of management experience is preferred. Full on the job training will be given by the existing out-going manager.

The successful applicant will possess the ability to see beyond an order on a printed sheet. They will see a Muslim brother/sister who has entrusted us with the duty to supply their order accurately and in a timely manner.
The successful applicant will have the ability to painstakingly maintain and update stock and customer records. He / she will pride themselves with the integrity of our records, rather than find the job tedious. Indeed simplyislam.com has all the automated tools to facilitate these tasks; however, the effectiveness of these tools largely relies upon the human element.
Basic Tasks
On the job training will be given for all tasks. A basic knowledge of computers is required, but without any specialised qualifications.
- Overall responsibility for managing the logistics of supply and distribution of all goods stored, purchased and sold by simplyislam.com
- Managing despatch of orders
- Updating Customer Records
- Managing stock and stock records
- Performing stock checks
- Picking, packing and despatch of orders
- Managing all aspects of the warehouse and junior staff
- Completing online documentation for courier services
- Processing Customer returns and refunds.
- Product Photograpy
- Customer Services via email and phone
- Receiving, unloading and checking stock from suppliers
- Operation of scanning and OCR software
- Operation of Audio & video capture software and hardware
- Writing brief product descriptions and specifications.
Remuneration
£15,600 per annum. 5 Day week; Mon - Friday. 9:00am - 5:30pm.
Periodic reviews will be made depending on the applicant’s ability, progress and contribution to the company.
