Not really. Like most things, it really depends... It depends on the class, the subject, the reason you took the class, etc... There are some classes where I'd like an A, but I don't care if I learn anything. At the same time, there are others where I'd much rather take something from the material, even if my grade suffers.
isn't there a way to get A and have a good learning ? Anyway, once you get your diploma and start working you will know then that what you learnt is what matters, if you are still a student then no way to convince you to get a B instead of A

Beardo needs to learn a lot of things...
If you get a B or even an F do not cry and never lose hope... Desi mom's not going to kill you...
I was looking at myself talking to myself and I realized this conversation...I was having with myself looking at myself was a conversation with myself that I needed to have with myself.
I couldn't decide. If I was getting an A, but not learning "much" (translation: not learning anything) then the class would feel like a complete waste of my time. At the same time, if I was learning a lot, while also studying and working hard, then I would not be happy with the B. If a class was just plain difficult, and I wasn't learning anything, because I didn't understand any of it-- then I'd be happy just getting that C! No one here wants to know how much I have studied in life (or not studied) and what kind of grades I have made.
I guess I'll just vote for the easy A, and be happy for the class time to doodle, read, or write.
My soul waits silently for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
I remember in my grad school days and I was teaching at a University in Louisiana on a fellowship earning my MS. The first thing the university president told me was. Be nice to your A students one of them may make a great discovery and bring you fame. Be nicer to your B students one of them may become rich and give a substantial donation to the University. Be the nicest to your C students, one of them will probably be your boss someday.
"Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists).".."[Al Qur'aan 3:2]
How could anyone get an A and not learn anything or not much?
I voted for B cos I'd like to carry some knowledge with me
Three simple rules in life:
1) If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it
2) If you don't ask, the answer will always be no.
3) If you do not step forward, you'll always be in the same place
