So then, how do you think our Imams of today would do if they were to apply for this post???? hhmmmm
I shudder to think how many would even come close to getting this position!
‘Say: If the ocean were ink wherewith to write out the words of my Lord, sooner would the ocean be exhausted, even if We added another ocean like it.’~Al Qu'raan (18:109)
25:36 And the true servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk the earth with humility and when the ignorant address them, they respond with words of peace.
What does being handsome have to do with anything?
Allahu 'Alam. Ordinarily, it doesn't. But you have to remember this was the position of Imam for one of the most important masajid in the uthmani khilafah. Naturally, the position required meeting a lot of people and being a people person. Perhaps a handsome countenance would help .
