This is the name of a facebook group I am a member in.
Shaima Alawadi was an Iraqi-American Muslim woman who was brutally killed in her own home in San Diego. Initially everything pointed towards a hate crime ... which prompted hundred of women (Muslim and non-Muslim) across the word to start wearing hijab in her support.

Since then new evidence has emerged which indicates that it may have been an honor killing disguised as a hate crime. The investigation continues.
However, by then issues which Muslim women face in Western societies had been raised, and - regardless of whether this was a hate crime or a domestic crime - those issues remain.

Here are some of the women sharing their experiences of wearing hijab:
Judith wore hijab for the whole of April.
This is Tallulah's blog.
The group even made the international newspapers.
