There is an excellent book by shaykh muhammad bin nooh an-najaatee as-saa'aatee otherwise known as shaykh muhammad naasirud-deen albaanee [rahimahullah] has an encyclopedia on bidah its called qamoos al bid'ah i believe you can get the book at www.rimarket.net other than that I advise getting sifaatus salah an nabiyee [alayhi sallam] ka annaka taraahu minat-takbeer ilaa tasleem by the same author. They also have a few books by other scholars on how the prophet [alayhi salam] prayed, shaykh muqbil rahimahullah has one and shaykh bazmool has one as well, all of these can be found on the website mentioned above. I hope this helps.

Just a quick sidenote, wiping the face after dua is a bid'ah, raising the hands and reciting a formula for salah is bid'ah, mentioning the intention outloud or in a subdued voice is a bid'ah, shaking hands after salah is a bid'ah those are just a few.

Im not going to engage you on a back and forth on this point, but really, studying Islam from a single source creates a very black and white, tunnel-visioned understanding of the religion. We need to properly study the religion through a methodology and engage fiqh before we jump to simplistic conclusions. We need to have a dynamic understanding of the religion that is beyond a simple sunnah/bid'ah understanding in issues of fiqh - that was not the methodology of the scholars for centuries. Unfortunately, it's become a recent trend amongst certain groups.

For example, for the issue above, Ibn Hajar in subul as-salam mentioned the narration of Ibn 'Umar (ra) and the narration of Ibn Abbas (ra) and others and said that even though the narration of Ibn 'Umar (ra) individually has a weakness, when all the narrations are brought together, they strengthen the status of the hadith to hasan. When it's hasan, it makes this practice of wiping the face after dua' acceptable thus it's not a bid'ah.

How do we know about "how to perform salah"?. The answer must be: from our Islamic teachers. And how our teachers knew about it?. Must be from their teachers. And their teachers knew from previous teachers.

Yes, there is Sanad in this matter. And if we trace this Sanad we would arrive to Grand Fuqaha in the past, and finally we arrive to Rasulullah Shallallahu Alayhi Wasalam.

So, it's better if we do not easy to say our brothers way in perform salah is against what Rasulullah Shallallahu Alayhi Wasalam had taught Muslims, just because how they perform salah is not really same with us. Yes, there are little diversities in Fiqh of salah, but we don't need to 'blow up' these Fururiyah diversities into a tension between us and our Muslim brothers.
