This is mashalah very inspiring, a brother used to watch porn when he is alone, then after he cries repents but do it again, kept doing this all the time for 7 years couple of times probably a week I dont know how many exactly...
Started feeling that he is a hypocrite. Always fixed his food, worked out a lot but then he becomes week again and do the same thing. One time Allah blessed him with a moment that he was sincere and said, I am a human and I should not put myself in fitna I have to cut the reasons the same our prophet prayers and peace be upon him told us not for a woman and a man to stay alone in a room, so he sold his android, bought a simple phone, cut his TV cable and canceled the internet, avoided places that have uncovered women, and workout everyday also avoided over eating. Now he is just using internet at internet cafes, ofcourse his faith increased and did more ibadat.
He says it is weird how I have this old phone, go to these internet cafes where I see weird people or teenagers but he said sobhanalah it is worth it, he is very happy not to committing sins when only Allah sees him. May Allah keeps him steadfast.
Mashalah very inspiring, he is telling me I am living my best days in life now with tears in his eyes. He told me even when he go to a hotel he gives the TV cable to house keeping.. May Allah grant him a righteous wife. Allah blessed us with a great religion Alhamdolilah that fixes everything. So he was weak infront of women and to his sexual desire but instead Allah gave him strength to cut all the reasons, Allah will never test you with something that you are not cabable of handling, but all of us commit sins sobhanahlah and the best among us who repent and stop doing it
Re: A great short story of a brother who quite watching porn after 7 years struggle
MashaAllah
That's an outstanding example of sheer commitment.
If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allah (Alone) let believers put their trust.
Surah Ale Imran : 160
It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) climbed up Uhud, accompanied by Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthmaan, and the mountain shook with them. He struck it with his foot and said: “Stand firm, O Uhud, for there is no one on you but a Prophet or a Siddeeq or two martyrs.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3483)
Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Taala) does not inspire seeking forgiveness in a slave whom he wishes to punish.

May Allah keep him on the straight path.
"Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth." Quran , Surah Baqarah 2:255
