    Re: Woe to us

Exactly. We hear people saying 'its only sunnah', not realizing how extremely important sunnah is. It is the practises of our beloved Rasulwhich we must hold close to our hearts. Loving the sunnah is a means of jannah for us, insha'allah ameen.

    Re: Woe to us

    Salaam,

    So true...yet sad...

Fardl salaah is a must, sunnah salaah is what earns us the Ajr (Reward) so i ask, who will forsake the reward intentionally?

Lets look at what is said about the sunnah salaah of fajr alone

A’isha RA relates that the Rasulullaah Sallallaahu alyhi Wasallam said, “The two Rakaats of (the Sunnah of) Fajr are better than the world and all it contains.” [Muslim]

The beard, how beautiful is the sunnah of the beard..in days gone by it was looked upon as ''staunch'' ''pious'' etc...today the kuffar sport beards on the soccer field etc and our youth portray them...indeed WOE TO US!!!

    Salaam,

My dear brother...it becomes quite evident why some have forsaken the sunnah because we dont understand the concept of al Walaa wal Baraa (love what Allah loves, hate what Allah hates) this concept, if we truly search our souls we come to the realization that most of us offer a lip service...Allah tells us in Quran..

Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much. #Quran 33:21

O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad) and render not vain your deeds. #Quran 47:33

We had the most perfect of creation as a Prophet...nothing he left untouched, everything was explained to us in such detail, just so that we could have the best of both worlds.

The Quran a Mercy to this Ummah, his teachings a blessing...

    The Quran is...

Have you ever read the Quran in such a way that it leaves you feeling so honored, honored to be a muslim? It takes you through the endless joys and riches of the worlds that Allah has sent to all of mankind...its like a new world, like your personal text book to guide you through your journey, you cant help but feel this tremendous honor, that your Rabb has given this to you so that you can attain a tremendous, glorious reward, but not only in aghirah but dunya too. If Allah loves you so much, which of the favors of your Lord do you deny?

This Quran is the fulfilment of Allah's promise to Adam (as) and his descendants for Allah says...

There shall come to you guidance from Me
    And whosoever follows My guidance
No fear shall be on them,
neither shall they sorrow #Quran 2:38

This world is but a test, brothers and sisters, this world is a journey to our next and final destination, we were reminded to journey through life as though we are travelers, yet some of us dont understand what a traveler is...

The Quran is our only sanctuary, we can and will never go wrong with it. It tells us about Allah, His attributes, it explains to us how He relates Himself to us and how we should relate to Him, to ourselves, to our fellow men and to every other existence...

The Quran is this Ummahs gift...
