The situation in Syria is dire especially for widows & orphans who have no home or protection because the Father has passed away & home destroyed.
So I am raising £4800 for a home for a Widow & 3+ orphans.
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "The person who strives on behalf of the widows & poor are like those who strive in the way of Allah & fast in the day & pray at night." [Bukhari, Muslim]
He also said "I and the guardian of an orphan will be in Jannah like these two." (His two fingers together)[Muslim]

I met them at a recent fundraising event and really admired the hard work they are doing for the Ummah. Most of them are volunteers and they have brothers on the ground right now. They did a live link to one of the brothers who spent last few years helping the Syrian refugees.
Out of the many projects they are running I was really attracted to this particular project to raise money for a home for a widow and 3-4 orphans. Imagine the reward. For helping widows one is rewarded as one fasted all day and prayed all night and for taking care of the orphans one will be the closest to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) in Jannah.
For such a small charity they run a 100% donation policy so every penny goes towards the fund. So please donate what you can and also forward to family, friends and contacts so by the end of Ramadan we can build a home for a widow and 3-4 orphans inshaAllah. We are already 50% of the way there.

Allahu Akbar! We've exceeded our target & raised £5000 in 10 days! I will keep you updated as to the building of the home for a Widow & 3-4 Orphans in Syria in due course inshaAllah.
Jazakallah to all who donated. May Allah accept it from you, reward you immeasurably & enable you to be closest to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) in Jannah for caring for the Orphans.
There are so many widows & orphans who desperately need a home. So we must not stop here. I am raising for another home for a widow & 3-4 Orphans.
So take advantage of what remains of Ramadan as charity in this month is better than any other time of the year!

Alhamdulillah by the end of Ramadan we managed to raise enough for a home for a Widow & 3+ Orphans in war torn Syria. But there are still too many without a home living in squalid conditions.
