Re: What are the differnce between Sunnah and Hadith ?
As-Sunnah according to the term of shari'ah is everything that came from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam in the form of qaul (words), fi'il (deeds), Taqrir (determination), the nature of the body and morals are meant to be as tasyri' (forming of sharia) for the Muslim ummah.
While Hadith basically mean the records of Sunnah. Based on source, Hadith divided into two kinds.
A. Hadith Qauli (record of Sunnah in the form of words), the words from Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam which related to tasyri.
B. Hadith Fi'li (record of Sunnah in the form deeds), deeds of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam that narrated by Sahabah.
