This is honestly a story that can put you in a state of sadness, it did for me, at least.
Moral of the story? Don't follow the footsteps of Shaytan! He is a clear/open enemy!
He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him [59:23]
A lesson to be learnt: Don't confront waswass head on, always seek the refuge of Allah, and protection of Allah, through prayer, reading Qur'an and obedience to Allah alone.
I've always had waswass on the definition of shirk according to Quran (worshipping anyone or anything besides Allah), I know it, etc. But it keeps going.
Allahu alam.
Meaning of Shirk according to The Qur'an
" Worshipping anyone or anything besides Allah " or " distributing anything exclusive to Allah, to anyone or anything else "
Meaning of Tawheed according to The Qur'an Worshipping none but Allah. Affirming whatever is exclusive to Him, Him alone.
