any explanation for this hadeeth?

Wathila b. al-Asqa' reported:

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Verily Allah granted eminence to Kinana from amongst the descendants of Isma'il, and he granted eminence to the Quraish amongst Kinana, and he granted eminence to Banu Hashim amonsgst the Quraish, and he granted me eminence from the tribe of Banu Hashim. (Sahih Muslim)

eminence = fame or recognized superiority

based on the hadith alone, i can assume this much:
From different descendants of Ishamel, Kinana were favored; from the descendants of Kianana, Quraish were favored; from the descendents of Quraish, Banu Hashim tribe were favored; and from banu Hashim, Prophet was favored in superiority over others.

So we can summarize that Allah chose from the best of the descendants of Ishmael in each generation, making the Prophet :swas1: best of the bests, from the line of the best ones, the top cream so to speak.

Of course this is through deductive reasoning only. Maybe there's some islamic explanation for this as well.
