    Extreme waswas

    Report bad ads?

    Salam alaikum brothers and sisters.

I have been suffering extreme waswas for the past year. I have been experiencing waswas in general for around 2 and half years but its gotten worse and worse. I say wallah to things so much even though i dont know the outcome for example: wallah this man is 35 just stupid little things and I feel like Im being forced to say it so that the answer in the end is wrong and I said wallah over it so I commited a sin I also get extreme waswas about Allah and very bad things about Allah that I dont want to think of but I do. Shirk also is a problem it's like I want to commit it astagfurillah my mind is forcing me to commit it. When Im holding the quran my mind forces me to think of false things and swear the quran over it or swear the quran over something that I cannot do and I cannot stop it. What shall I do? Is this waswaas? Have I commited shirk?

    Re: Extreme waswas

I think it just waswas because you don't mean to say it and you are forcing to say it
    Say :
Allahu Allahu rabbi la oshriku bihi shaya.
‘Allah, Allah is my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him.’

Supplication for one afflicted with doubt in his faith

    ■ He should seek refuge in Allah
    ■ He should renounce that which is causing such doubt.

    ■ He should say:
    Amantu billahi warusulih.
‘I have believed in Allah and His Messenger.’

    ■ He should also recite the following verse:
    هُوَ الأوَّلُ، وَالآخِـرُ، وَالظّـاهِـرُ، وَالْبـاطِـنُ، وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيءٍ عَلـيم .
Huwa al-awwalu, waal-akhiru, waalththahiru waalbatinu wahuwa bikulli shayin AAaleem.
‘He is The First and The Last, Aththahir and Al-Batin and He knows well all things.’
Aththahir: Indicates the greatness of His attributes and the insignificance of every single creation in respect to His greatness and Highness, for He is above all of His creation as regards His essence and attributes.
Al-Batin: Indicates His awareness and knowledge of all secrets, of that which is in the hearts and the most intimate of things just as it indicates His closeness and nearness to all in a manner which befits His majesty.

and you should also don't care about it after doing so ... because you know that Allah won't ask you about this
try to don't forget adkar assabah WA lmasae remembering Allah : especially those important following
    Reciting ayatulkurssiy 2:255 1 time
And chapters number 112 and 113 and 114 ikhlas alfalak and annass
3 times right after Fajr and also after Maghreb
    Saying

There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the sovereignty, and His the praise, and He has power over everything 100 times a day after Fajr and after Maghreb
will have a reward equivalent to the reward for freeing 10 slaves. Also, 100 deeds will be recorded for him & 100 bad deeds of his will be wiped off, & it will be a safeguard for him from Satan that day until evening, & no one will be better in deeds than such a person except he who does more than that.” [Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i and Ibn Majah]
Saying the last two verses of suratu lbakarah 2: 285/286
Amana arrasoolu bimaonzila ilayhi min rabbihi walmu/minoona kullun amanabillahi wamala-ikatihi wakutubihiwarusulihi la nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulihiwaqaloo samiAAna waataAAna ghufranakarabbana wa-ilayka almaseer
La yukallifu Allahu nafsanilla wusAAaha laha ma kasabatwaAAalayha ma iktasabat rabbana latu-akhithna in naseena aw akhta/narabbana wala tahmil AAalayna isrankama hamaltahu AAala allatheena minqablina rabbana wala tuhammilnama la taqata lana bihi waAAfuAAanna waghfir lana warhamnaanta mawlana fansurna AAalaalqawmi alkafireen

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination.
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people
    2: 285/286
Say it bafor going to sleep
But don't let it any time take it as your medicine take it strictly
And think about this as when a person go to a doctor and tell him that he suffering from a chronic disease
He will do his medicine even if he know that this will be for the rest of his life
It will help so much but it need to put your trust in Allah and when this things Comes to your head say the things I mentioned before and try to make your self busy with any good and halal thing
And you should that this just from shaytan to led you to lose hope from the mercy of Allah you just have to be calm and to know that is not you but this is shaytan
In this way you will get rid of all those things and get reward also
    May Allah help you
    Amen!

    Re: Extreme waswas

Don't heed to wasawas as it is the part of our life. It doesn't affect if you don't practice upon them

    Re: Extreme waswas

Here is some information for you. Waswasa is very dagnerous if not checked. I almost died. So please consult a doctor as soon as possible inshallah.

Islamic solution to schizophrenia that helps me.

I have schizophrenia but I have found the solution that helps me. There are times when this solution is too difficult for me especially when I am being overwhelmed. When things are easier, when the voices are not too much then I go back to my regiment. It’s important because it is a form of meditation that is very peaceful. My parents and family were also very patient with me when this all started, this was also vital. The important thing for me is that I was reminded everyday of God’s oneness. This really helped me because I was hearing terrible things about God.

    The solution that helps me.

    1. I Pray everyday
In Islam, Muslims pray 5 times a day. When this all started all I could do was prostrate and declare God’s oneness with my index finger. But things did get better for a while. I still struggle with prayers but I still do my best which does make me feel better.

    2. I write to God about my life in a dairy.
My problem is that I forget easily the blessing in my life. Hearing the voices everyday makes one really depressed. But having a diary to God really helps me. Reason being is that I replace a negative thought process with a positive one. I don’t write about negative things in my diary. I talk about comics, good jokes, heaven, art, computer graphics, good deeds that I see people doing and especially my family and friends etc.

    3. I Recite God’s names
In Islam, God has many names which relate to his personality. This helps me understand God better which helps me realize that God is with me through my sickness God willing.

The following are examples are God’s names
    God: Allah
    God the Merciful : ar-Raheem
    God the Healer : al-Qayoom
    God the Compassionate : ash-Shafee
God the Granter of Peace: as-Salaam

I was really struggling in the beginning and then I found a book of God’s names. The first name I read was (al-Muqmeen) God - The preserver of faith. To this day it’s one of my favourite names of God because I do believe without His support I would have lost faith a long time ago.

Please note: I try everyday to make relevant prayers by each of God’s names. For instance God the healer (al-Qayoom), Here, I pray for my health as well as my family and friends etc It really helps me find peace. In Islam we repeat God’s names as a form of Meditation. It’s called thikr. We use rosemary beads which really helps Muslims go to a peaceful place.

    4. I also Read Quran/Surah Hasr
Allah is He than whom there is no other god Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He Most Gracious Most Merciful.

Allah is He other than whom there is no other god the sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), The Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! (high is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.

He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or colors). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: Whatever is in the heavens and on earth doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the exalted in Might the Wise.

    5.I also Read Quran/Surah al-Ikhlaṣ

Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,
    Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
He neither begets nor is born,
Nor is there to none like unto Him."

    6. I take Medication
I do take medication which really helps. I did find a psychiatrist and medication that suits me. I believe God provides relief that’s why I never forget to take my meds.

I hope that this information helps you and all those suffering from schizophrenia.

Peace and Blessings be upon you
