As Salamualaykum. Has anyone made a dua to Allah for getting rid of a serious chronic illness and got his or her dua answered by getting the problems cured?
I repeat these duas every time I am suffering from illness or other hardships, and Allah always grants me ease afterwards :
hasbunallahu wani'malwakeel (3:173) dua of Ibrahim 'alayhi salaam
hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wahuwa rabbu al 'arshi al 'azeem ( 9:129 )
la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntuminaz-zalimeen (21:87) dua of Yunus 'alayhi salaam
anni massaniya ad-durr wa anta arhamuarrahimeen (21:83) dua of Ayyub 'alayhi salaam
anni massaniya ash-shaytan binusbin wa'azab (38:41) dua of Ayyub 'alayhi salaam
rabbii inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer (28:24) dua of Musa 'alayhi salaam
Allah is the Truth, the All Able, He never changes, He was truthful then, He still is.
Jabir bin 'Abdullah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:'A slave (of Allah) shall not believe until he believes in Al-Qadar, its good and its bad, such that he knows that what struck him would not have missed him, and that what missed him would not have struck him." (Jami 'at Tirmidhi)
