No i don't agree. You at your worst might involve oppression, injustice, bad character etc. then why would anyone want to see you at your best. Sounds like bipolar. Jumping from one extreme to the other. Everything in moderation Islam teaches and also the quotation puts the attention on the surrounding people and takes away the focus of the individual in question. We should always look at ourselves to rectify, change and improve. Insha Allah.
