Blessings and The Good Manner of the Mosques

It was narrated from Wathilah bin Asqa' that:

The Prophet (May peace and mercy of Allah be upon him)said: "Keep your infants, your insane and your evil ones away from your mosques. Avoid engaging in transactions and disputes, raising your voices, carrying out your prescribed punishments and unsheathing your swords therein. Make places for purification at their gates, and perfume them with incense on Fridays"

    (Al-Mishiat).

This hadith throws light on the well-being of the mosques, because the mosques are the houses of Allah Almighty where the worship is offered for five times daily or more and nawafil (optional salahs). People gather in the mosques. The advantage of that: there is an opportunity for mutual interest also the believers ask for each other's well-being here. For example, if someone is sick, upset or in trouble, then someone can help him and so on and business is not permissible here.

It is necessary that the respect and holiness of the mosque should be taken care of, and should not be raised voices there at all. Also people must avoid there from dispute or fight in the mosques and should not talk about worldly affairs but only remembrance of Allah.

It is necessary that the mosques should be pure from filthy and be perfumed.

May Allah give us ‘taufeeq’ to do so, Amin.
