Myself and my mujahideen brothers have recreated the Kabba on a videogame called Final Fantasy 14 - would this act of transgression against Islam or am I safe to do as such.

Akhi, inshaAllah this info about making a model of kaaba will help you, a model is a model be it 2D or 3D. If you are still in doubt after reading it then maybe it's better to avoid it.
