Iqram, can you explain what a hazif is, and what your training entails?
Whatever it is, you sound very excited!
Edit: I just realised that the OP is more than two years old (DOH!), so I am having to rephrase my questions ...
Did you become a hazif, Iqram?
And are you still so excited about it?
Peace glo
Here I stand.
I can do no other.
May God help me.
Amen.
Come, let us worship and bow down •
and kneel before the Lord our Maker
[Psalm 95]
Wow 9 months is quite fast. It took me a good 4 to 5 years to become a hafiz. Of corse it was part time and I Had over obligations, but even for full time 9 months take dedication mashaallah.
To Glo, a hafiz is someone who has memorized the whole Quran word for word
^I looked at the online hifz website that you posted. And in the quranic science link I found rectations from sheikh uthman, and I recognized the voice of him. There was once, a few years ago, a sheikh uthman in my masjid in AZ. And he read exactly like the sh. Uthman on the website. I am pretty sure this is the same sheikh. So do you have any idea who i'm talking about?
Masha Allah brother for 9 months a whole Quran!
May Allah guide you to the best But if possible can you post latter your experience in hafid and how you organize your schedule in sha allah so I will get some tips, because I am doing hafid as well ?
Yes, This could be the same sheikh uthman, he did his hifz in england. Currently he's the Imam of Al Falah Islamic Center. He teaches there and is a very great man. He was also in ajax for some years!! He lives in Mississauga, Ontario!!
