Sis Syilla, are you sure that it isn't actually "Sahilah" ?
Because you know....since I am Malay Myself, I see that many times Malays pronounce the letter س like 'sheen' and so some words get mixed up.
I learnt Arabic.......and I cannot find any meaning to the words 'Sha Ha La' (those are the root words of the name Shahila) so I'm suggesting that maybe it's Sahilah Instead?
If this is the case, then the name Sahila would mean : Easy
My real name is Nafeesah, and it means : Precious
As for my User name : Asilah Rana . Well Asilah means Genuine, and Rana (old Arabic )means : A woman who is so beautiful that people turn their heads to look at her ( lol )
I hope saya tidak mengelirukan Akak dengan post saya yang panjang lebar niii

Nahid means "the Immaculate One". It's a Persian name for Venus (the morning and evening star) as well as for one of God's six head angels ("Immortals") in the Behdin ("Good Religion" = Zoroastrianism). The Old Persian version is Anahita. She is associated with water, love and war.
Sarvy (særvi) is Persian for "Of the Cypress Tree". Cypresses are sacred to Behdini.
Is your religion real when it costs you nothing and carries no risk? Is your religion real when you fatten upon it? Is your religion real when you commit atrocities in its name? Whence comes your downward degeneration from the original revelation?
Assalaamou 3alaikum wa rehmatullahi wa barakaat to all
Thread created so that we can share meaning of names , not only yours but that of your kins or names whose meaning you would like to know
Insha Allah, we may all appreciate this
If I may start,
"Nafiisah" means precious in Arabic
or "Aminah" was the name of the Prophet's mother and if I am not mistaken it means security?
