I heard yesterday from my sister that a gentlemen with an accent attempted to join the BNP and rang their number 0870 7576 267 in order to do so.

The lady however kept hanging up on him.

Does this actually happen, if you don't sound enlish you can't join?

One thing which then seemed interesting was if someone who can actually do an accent phone them up and attempt to join and post it on youtube so that everyone can see if they truly are racist in the head office!

However my sister and I suck at accents and the best we can do is Cockney but that isn't "foreign".

If someone does do it could you post the link to youtube so I can watch it?

The BNP is the British National Party, and they are a far right political party. According to its constitution, the BNP "stands for the preservation of the national and ethnic character of the British people and is wholly opposed to any form of racial integration between British and non-European peoples", and is "committed to stemming and reversing the tide of non-white immigration and to restoring, by legal changes, negotiation and consent the overwhelmingly white makeup of the British population that existed in Britain prior to 1948". To achieve this aim, the BNP advocates the use of "firm but voluntary incentives" to remove ethnic minorities from the UK

David Duke has kind of dwindled from memory and is pretty well forgotton. When he ran for political office in Louisiana he allegadly had cut all ties with the KKK.

It has been a long time since I last heard his name mentioned about anything.

I just did a google search on David Duke. He is alive and well, still a State Representative in Louisiana. I haven't lived in Louisiana for over 20 years, so haven't kept up with their politics. Latest writtings from David Duke:

I would say that this is a wake up call for people in the UK. Now is not the time for apathy at the voting booths. All citizens need to vote just to cast their vote to support anyone who is not BNP.

yea you know I was listening to radio a while back, and they spoke about this, and a couple of people rang saying 'i know a black friend who voted bnp, he just votes so that the other political groups see the rise in bnp and feel threatened enough to do something'

As much as it's interesting to see these comments, I was wondering whether someone could do an actual call on loudspeaker and report on what the reaction from them is from them, possibly on youtube.
