    salaam ,
    i just wanted to know if my fast is valid. i didnt wake up at sehri time however i made a dua saying i want to keep the fast and that if allah can accept it. But i jus realised i didnt read the actual dua sat u read wen closing ur fast? n nw im confused weder my fast is valid or not?

    ye sis i heard if u make the intention wiv ur heart the night/day b4 its valid, its only invalid if u wake up next day n then out of random think "i dnt want brekky, i want to fast" but if u woke up thinking "OH NO I MISSED SEHRI " then its valid inshaAllah lol

    There's also the alternative, the night before the first day, one has to make his solemn intention to fast the 29 or 30 days of Ramadhan. This way, One hasn't to make his dua of intention on a daily basis. Wa allahou Aalam.
