Whats the best way for henna to come out really dark after being applied?ive seen some people have black henna but wouldn't know where to search for this type of mehndi?any ideas

Lol... when i first ever put it on by a muslim woman she actually put baby oil on some cotton wool and rub it on the pattern and it came out very dark man.
But be don't like smell sowiee

Thank you! I've been warning peopel for a very long time about the dangers of "black henna". Basically, it's concerntrated black hair dye.
You want to purchase the henna powder/paste from a reputable person, or simply get it done by a reputable artist.
The darkness of the stain will depend on the crop and where the henna is from (some hennas are more brown, others more orange, others more red, etc). To help darken the stain, Keep the henna oon as long as possible (usually overnight is good), have it sealed (some do a mix of sugar and lemon juice, others use thick spray-on hair gel, others use NewSkin (liquid bandage), etc etc etc. You can also wrap it once it's been sealed to keep more body heat (which helps too).

I'll be getting henna done at the end of Ramadan (I'm fasting, so I figured I could get the henna done). Usually I do my own, but for once, I want some henna on BOTH hands, not just my left hand. LOL!
okay dear. I am very familiar with henna.............................
first, dont use the black henna because it cause cancer (it is not natural henna)
second, if you want henna to be dark browen, you have to use fresh henna not something stored for long time .
third, you have to keep it in your hand for 3 or more hours.
Finally, after you remove it and wash your hand, you can put vicks, it will gives you the best result.
and try to avoid using strong soup like washing clothes.
UMMMMM Lemon is rubbed on hand prior to application.
for afters once slightly dry dab on suger water when taking off scrape away with a non sharp object. and apply vicks! or neel giri tel which in english is eucalyptis oil
