i wanted to ask a question regarding the designs of the mosques all around the world...
u kno the way they have the big round thing at the top and the log metal bar with a cresent on top of it.. is that how mosques used to look like back in the day of our prophet muhammed saw?

About design, most West African mosques tend to be in a square shape, usually with less glass and more mud/cement concrete. Depending on the environment, mosque design varies to an extreme degree. Mosques in China tend to follow a mix of traditional east Asian design and the dome design.
