InshaAllah this will be the Thread where I mention all the updates made on QuranicAudio.Com.
Lately we have been working on the Quran sets (that already exist on the site), which had Surahs in "parts".
For example, if you were to look at Surah al-Baqarah by Sa'ad al-Ghamidi. You would see something like this:
Surah_al_Baqarah[Part_01_of_20]
Surah_al_Baqarah[Part_02_of_20]
Surah_al_Baqarah[Part_03_of_20]
etc...
So anyway, we have gotten rid of all the parts, and joint every thing up.
so know its like "002.mp3" for ALL of surah al-baqarah
We put all these recitors up recently in "1 File per Surah" format: Ahmed ibn 3ali al-3ajamy
Hani ar-Rifa3i
Sa3d al-Ghamidi
AbdurRahman al-Huthayfi
Salah al-Budair
Abdurrahman al-Sudais
Sodais and Shuraim
AbdulBari ath-Thubaity
Nabil al-Rifa3i
AbdulMuhsin al-Qasim
this makes it much easier to download and also to put it on ur mp3 player.
there are 3 recitors left to do this for, and they are:
Muhammad al-Muhaisny
Muhammad Jibreel
Fares Abbad.
InshaAllah these will be done soon and will be mentioned on this thread, along with any other update.
الزم طريق الهدى و لا تحزن بقلة السالكين
Follow the guided path and do not be saddened with a few followers.
و احذر طريق الضلالة و لا تغتر بكثرة الهالكين
And beware of the misguided path and do not be deceived by the doomed majority.
but you know to make life easier in each of the sets of recitations like taraweeh 1427, can you put next to each surah who has recited it lol or is that too long . . .
Jaa-Ro-Nee-Mo!!!
"they ask you when will the help of Allah (swt) come! Certainly Allah (Swt) help is always near"
but you know to make life easier in each of the sets of recitations like taraweeh 1427, can you put next to each surah who has recited it lol or is that too long . . .
^Yeh, that would be a good idea.
Also, whatever I download from your site, for some reason I can't seem to be able to put it onto my iPod, have any idea why?

wa alaikumus salaamu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh
im guessing ur streaming .m3u files through iTunes?
u need to actually download the mp3 file and save it to ur hard drive.
try this:
1. go to http://download.quranicaudio.com/quran/
2. click any recitor that u want to download a surah for
3. if ur using InternetExplorer: right click on the surah, and then go to "Save Target As..." OR
if ur using FireFox: right click on the surah, and then go to "Save Link As..."
4. once its downloaded. u can now u put the surahs on ur ipod depending on wat setting (manual/sync) uve set ur ipod to.
if its manual (thats wat i have mine set 2), make a new playlist on ur ipod and name it to wat ever u want, u can write the recitors name or Quran. up 2 u.
then drag the mp3 from where u saved it on to the Playlist that u just made.
let me know if thats helpful inshaAllah.
