A cousin of mine had just informed me of there being a section in Hell that is severly cold.
Now, i just made this thread to see if you guys have heard of this, and if you could link a source regarding it, because I've never heard of it till now.
Salam,
Me neither I don't know, but I am too afraid to look up much details about Hell so that's my problem... But many times I've been thinking that for a person who stands heat easier than coldness, it's more normal to be punished by coldness than heat then, and the person who stands coldness better than heat it's the opposite for. I don't know, I have just thought about this sometimes in my moments of too much thoughts to handle...
Hey Goss and friends .
If you REALLY want to know about HELL you best read the book written by the only man on this Great Earth that has first hand knowledge on the subject , I have read the book but have not viewed his comments published on youtube , which may or may not be enlightening as well
Bill Wiese - 23 minutes in hell

* testimonies
Bill Wiese, a real estate agent testifies of the experience he had in hell out of his body. Jesus took him to hell and back so he could testify of what is there.
Bill is a realtor, a real estate agent. As such, he doesn't need to sell religious materials to have a good income. Bill doesn't sell his testimony as far as I can see. He encourages people to copy it, burn CDs with it and give it to their friends. If you are interested, some links for that are here. I always appreciate it when people do not try to make money out of the revelations they claim to have from the Lord.
Bill's testimony points to a terrifying reality awaiting those who do not know the Savior. The fact that the youtube comments on the page are so hostile indicate to me how far gone many people are in the United States of America, how twisted and anti-Christ so many people have become.
This is the second part of the testimony.
This is the third part of the testimony, with his wife corroborating the story.

bill wiese went to hell and back? that is fascinating indeed.. he should bottle his life potion, as he is certainly a first, pack his bags and head down to Stockholm to claim his Nobel. I hear that is where people go when they have a first!
all the best
Text without context is pretext If your opponent is of choleric temperament, seek to irritate him
If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allah (Alone) let believers put their trust.
Surah Ale Imran : 160
It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) climbed up Uhud, accompanied by Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthmaan, and the mountain shook with them. He struck it with his foot and said: “Stand firm, O Uhud, for there is no one on you but a Prophet or a Siddeeq or two martyrs.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3483)
Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Taala) does not inspire seeking forgiveness in a slave whom he wishes to punish.
What you feel from heat during summer is but a small breath from Hell to remind you with it. Abu Hurayrah, may Allaah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “The Fire complained to its Lord saying, O Lord! I am eating up myself (burning), so Allaah allowed it to release two breaths, one during the winter and one during the summer; the coldest days you experience result from the breath of Zamhareer (cold punishment in Hell), and the hottest days you experience result from the breath of Fire” (Bukhaari)
but I am sure there is more on the web and in Arabic..

Why in the hadiths its about ( cold punishment ) and the Quran Allah SWT says people in hell will not taste anything cool.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Sourate 78
21. Truly Hell is as a place of ambush,
22. For the transgressors a place of destination:
23. They will dwell therein for ages.
24. Nothing cool shall they taste therein, nor any drink,
Assalam aleykoum sisters and brothers.
I ask Allah SWT to forgive us and to guide us, Ameen.
I don't know for I am not a scholar, but I'll take a stab and say that Jinn are made of fire, so perhaps such is their punishment in hell.. Also, the Quran doesn't go into great details of all that awaits us in heaven or hell, it just gave us glimpses..
also the verse you quote is really in regard to the foods and drinks of hell, not the form of punishment itself and I hazard say it is translated incorrectly which I'll go check against the verse itself now, but it should read 'la baredin wla kareem' nothing cool shall they drink nor كريم which can be translated to a number of things as 'kind' 'good' 'benign' etc, as you can probably tell from the link I have left that there are different types of hell, not just one the punishement and food aren't akin to each other...
and Allah swt knows best

P.S: are you the brother with the deviant beliefs? Quran only or something? forgive me if it isn't you but I believe you were the one quoting very deviant and unusual accounts and exegesis...
anyhow, the above explanation should suffice unless you wish to ask a scholar for confirmation...

I would like to thank you anyway, I will try to find out by asking scholars Insha'Allah , I will keep you informed.
I am not as sure with the Koran as I am still learning but I do know that the bible does (apperantly also) explain that there are several levels to hell.
