isn't there 7 qirayats allowed only ?? anyone knows how come they accepted 10??

I thought there are 14, as the 7 qiraat, each of it produced another 2.... Maybe I should ask a friend of mine, he has a degree in qiraat from Al Azhar.

there are 7 mutawaatir way of reciting Quran. we recite the Imam Asim Kufi way.

:salamext:

just like there are 4 mutawaatir madh-hab in Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah. and Most of the Ummah (for 1300 years) are the followers of the Hanafi Madh-hab.
This is called the acceptance (maqbool)) in the court of Almighty ALlah. :)
(rabbana taqabbal minna innaka antas samee ul aleem)

interesting ... i dunno much abt other way of recitation ..
do all the Malaysians recite that way?

Malaysians read in Imam Asim way too (it's easier as we Malaysians using Rasm Uthmani Qur'an)

From what I've heard from my friend's recitation, "alayhim" became "alayhom"..
