:salamext:
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet, (salalahu 'alayhi wa sallam), climbed upon the minbar (pulpit) and said:
So he said:
"Ameen, ameen, ameen".
So it was said, "O Messenger of Allah, you climbed upon the minbar and said: "ameen, ameen, ameen" ?
So he said:
"Jibraa'eel, `alaihi assalam, came to me and said, 'Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and does not have [his sins] forgiven and so enters Fire, then may Allah distance him, say aameen".
So I said "aameen".
Ibn Khuzaimah, Ahmad and al-Baihaqui: Sahih
May Allaah protect us from being of those who don't get their sins forgiven.
Ramadan is around 35 days from now insha Allaah..and preparation is in order!

So, the questions are:
What are some things that we can do now to raise our Imaan so that we will be able to take full advantage of the blessed month? :statisfie
What are some ways in which we can perform Tazkiyyah (purification) upon our soul and our hearts to get them into top shape for Ramadan?
What are some things we can do to get ourselves ready for the Taraweeh and the recitation of the Qur'an? :shade:
What are things that we can start doing RIGHT NOW that will help us maximize the benefit we get from Ramadan?

So let's come up with (at least) 101 things we can start doing to be in tip top shape! :thumbs_up
1. Start dedicating a part of our day to recite a page of Qur'an, (maybe right after one of the prayers if time is an issue) if we haven't been doing that already. If we're already doing that, then we can increase in it.
