only today my niece and nephew were watching nasheeds on the global unity DVD, and this guy called Dhawud warnsby did a nasheed called "dont tell me about Muhammad" has anyone heard it???
i got so angry when i heard it ..these people should not be allowed to produce this stuff!!!! songs stick in people's heads....that nasheed should be banned actually anything he makes should be banned they are terrible!!

sis i actually heard that nasheed lol, i agree its quite brainwashing but the man derived the nasheed from a hadith in which a man was travelling with Muhammad saws and he kept complaining about muhammad saws not knowing that it is muhammad saws right next to him but then at the end he realises the man besides him is actually muhammad saws and he readily accepts islam due to the kind nature of muhammad saws.

yeh but kids pick up nasheed quick and stuff like that will stick in their heads...would u want stuff like that to stick in the head of little kids etc? is that the type of nasheed to make?

no i personally think some nasheeds are very beneficial if u actually listen to the lyrics...with out nasheeds...i think they'll go in2 music..so its better 2 have sumat..

i think i know who he is, he came and performed a nasheed at one of our events in my home town, few years back he did a nasheed about the mother in Bengali and he had all the mum's in tears, he didnt use musical instruments at that time.

I remember meeting his mother and his sister....IF its the same guy.
 
yeh i remember his sister saying she was very ill...she seemed frail and i asked her if she wanted to come to my house..

omg thats so sad...the lady wasnt very old either.

May Allah have mercy on her...Ameen

^^i knw sis:(..he looks after his lil sis..n i think his mum got him into singing coz he had a beautiful voice..:D..well i get these info from such a body ...lol...:D
regardless of the music being played the lyrics are very touching..i dont undertsand the one in bengali...but its beautiiful mashaAllah..
