a question regarding the adhan?

is it a sunnah or something for the Muatthin (the person who calls the adhan) to elongate the words, etc of the adhan... because ive noticed that a lot of them tend to do this and was wondering if it was a sunnah :?

i am not entirely sure but if a person uses some logic sense they will come to a conclusion that the longer the adhan is chanted the more people will hear the call but if it was just read at normal pace then it wouldn’t be a call to prayer it would be something else....generally speaking whenever we call someone from far we tend to elongate our words and if we just quietly and abruptly spoke they would never perceive sound
