By no means limited to the list below:

1. Their right hand.
2. Driver reaching a gearbox, in a hand-hand-drive vehicle.
3. The inner skin (and flesh and bones) of the left hand.
4. "Left hand" (or "wing", in some cases) politics.

One of those is very close to the answer. But, not quite there.
 
Is it placing the flat of the palm on the right shoulder? It can be done with the left hand, but not with the right :><:
