Recently I've been reading the scientific info and miracles in the Quran,and it was amazing of course.


But then,this is the most annoying thing I come across when I wanna learn a scientific info in the Quran,"Scientific errors in the Quran" to be honest I never believed in people when they said there there's a scientific error in the Quran,and there are tons of pages refuting the fact that there are proven scientific facts,this just doesn't hurt me,it also effects my faith,I've just read a post or a thread by a MUSLIM who said that THERE are scientific mistakes in the Quran.And there seems to be too many people claiming that aswell,the thing is,I want someone to tell me the truth,IS THERE REALLY a SCIENTIFIC error in the Quran ? like some Muslims are coming into an agreement that the Quran has some scientific errors,which of course it wavers and shakes my faith because the more I read the scientific info in the Quran the more I have a stronger faith in Allah.i really want help in this subject,and I want someone who truly studied the scientific evidences in the Quran.....and I'm not disbelieving or anything,it's just that I'm annoyed by why there's so many threads talking about how the Quran has some scientific errors and even some Muslims are actually agreeing it,and this is the site where I ALL I got the question from

The more I see a thread which goes by the title of "Scientifc error in the Quran" it leaves me uncomfortable,unsure,worried,so I want someone to warm my heart on this subject and tell me that there isn't a scientific error in the Quran,that's all,because it's kind of giving me doubts now (which I hate and I only see Islam as a perfect religion tbh) and what do you guys personally think ? This is a subject which I know it is kind of tricky and not good,but I just wanna understand the truth...

Salam bro. One cannot find a scientific error in Quran because Quran doesn't have any scientific information at all. Because Quran is not a science book What Quran has "logical reminders" which make us to think over the scientific realities behind them. These two are different things.

Quran is a book of guidance not science. It has "Scientific" factual information in it that mankind didn't know unless they had progress enough in science to discover. Such as that the expanding of the universe or contracting, or the deeper you go in the ocean the darker it becomes (darkness layer upon layer) or that the two seas (salt and fresh water) do not mix when they meet.

Those who make these claims often either lack deen knowledge or scientific or both. Google scientists on the Quran, and you'll find what actual scientists say. Also be aware we have lot of munafiqs, sell outs, deceptors and pretenders in our ummah.

Of course brother/sister,I always try my best to avoid them,but the thing I'm trying to ask is there's a lot of Muslims putting titles on scientific facts in the Quran as "Scientific miracles in the Quran" is it the Muslims who go beyond with the titles ?....

But there are people disproving what the Quran says about its scientific facts..that's the point I'm trying to make,like for example when the Quran says that earth was made from smoke "or the universe correct me if I'm wrong" some people are saying its wrong too...

There is nothing wrong in saying "Scientific miracles in the Quran" as those are miracles in that they were revealed 1500 years ago in a desert land and people of science are only discovering them now. Some may may try to stretch it make it look more "grand" then they should.

i read the science bit before the history bit..

nothing to worry about.

just because it sounds like how it it doesn't mean thats what was intended..

imo im not one for crediting science wrt the quran.. i usually see it as a metaphysical thing.. the unseen "spooky stuff"

the fact it is actually competent wrt science is even more amazing..

lol it gets difficult what ifs and maybes.. which could or could not have some basis.

i dont know? although he himself has said that the argument is not to discredit islam or question its validity..

rather the understanding people have of it.. how they link one with the other.. example quran and science..

although one is and one is still..progressing..

id like to say the quran is from the future rather than the past..

i think the link you provided may actually be from a muslim.. from what i have gathered.

it speculates that the knowledge contained in the quran is either vague..applying more generally or has previously been "revealed" to other nations..

which it may have been, if you take it that it also mentions previous prophets pbut or people's or narations or stories..

what is the difference? should it not contain this knowledge?

thats who sent it.. who always sent it..

if it differs by the end of time then it will only do so because our understanding changes..

however that happens.

and although the science and ethics and morality and conduct within it.. may not be new..

the attributing of it to a supreme creator.. is

the difference is that the link cannot reconcile the quranic scientific miracles as an approach way to understanding or belief..

it is only a small part of the book, although a lot of people spend there entire lives in the pursuit of this small part..

which in itself is all encompassing.

the quran may be a way of achieving competency in all manner of things..

although the beauty of it and our own faults are expose by it.

billions of people all lead on there own paths..

although guidance and misguidance are available in abundance..

@Al Sultan, have you read the article that you have linked in your first post? If not, read it completely and try to understand what the author is saying.


Some of the noteworthy points from that article:

1. Science does not claim certainty or 100% truth.
2. Science is dynamic and therefore changes over time.
3. Science is not the only way to render truths about the world and reality.

Whereas, Qur'an is the absolute truth with certainty,
The Words of Allah :swt: do not change over time,
The reality is what Allah :swt: has revealed and anything else that scientists observe is based on speculations and assumptions.

Well brother,when I saw the title "Are there scientific miracles in the Quran?" I didn't want to look at it,i thought it was a ex muslim or something,not to mention that he said there are "Inaccurate History" so obviously when I see someone trying to disprove the quran I quickly leave without thinking,i don't want to read or look at something that will shake my faith...but Jazak Allah khair brother...so I don't have to overthink about this too much right? The Quran's scientific facts are a "starter" if you know what I mean..but then science changes and sometimes it doesn't claim 100% truth,is that right? and also do you recommend me to read the article? because I don't want to see someone disproving the Quran in a wrong way...imsad

But people are refuting that salt and fresh water do not mix,THEY DO mix apparently,this is what I am worried about...people are proving the quran scientifically wrong,of course I'm not saying that the Quran is a scientific book,im not saying that,im saying that there are people who are proving the SCIENTIFIC facts in the Quran wrong...
