I think someones posted something similar to this, and i think they said that he isn't dhul kar nayn (mentioned in surah kahf).. i also heard in a lecture by yasir qadhi that he (alexander) was a polytheist.

Lagends and folk story about him portray Alexandra as a non-believer, but folk tales about him are not true facts..

I heard that Dhul Qarnain in Surah Al-Kahf is more likely Cyrus the Great and not Alexander, but Allahu Alim.
