Here in the USA about 4 hours after sunset on Mon. Dec 1 we will be treated to a rare sight. Venus and Jupiter should be unusually bright and very close, visually, to a thin crescent moon.

It should look similar to the Turkish Flag.

I will try to get some pictures, but the weather does not look promising. Another snow blizzard is anticipated.
