All girl Islamic boarding school

Salam sisters,please tell me about jamea al kauther in lancaster if any sisters has been there and know how its like there,what are the teachers,food,etc..,as i am sending my daughter soon,please let me know allah hafiz
 
when its uni time, you won't find a gender segregated one, at least not in Europe, so I guess it's better to get your children used to the mixed environment in the early years?

Ummm...I find that it's all cool in the early years to be segregated and then if you want to go to uni, to go to a mixed college which kind of helps you prepare for uni. I've seen during secondary school years (I'm not generalising, just telling you what I've seen here...) some girls, not all, seem to lose confidence in themselves as they try and compete for the attention of dudes and dudettes..Have no idea why and sheesh have they become the most obnoxious, self-centred insecurest girls ever...BUT this does NOT apply to all girls who've been to a mixed secondary school...
Though, if you're a girl and you're brainy enough to get into St. Hilda's in Oxford, then it's all cool to go to segregated schools all the way, because it's just for girls..Though I'm not sure if they have the same sort of things for dudes here in the UK....
