answer waiting for approval

i just gave an answer on a thread and got the message that its waiting to be approved by a moderator....this hasnt happened before, is there any reason its done this or is it a random thing? thank you

In some sections, all posts get moderated before showing up. Just have to wait for someone(moderator/admin) to review your post.

some sections are moderated once approved by a mod. it will appear
