Anti-imperialism day.. US embassy seizure in Iran

Have you read about the seizure of US embassy in Iran (in 1979) by Iranian University students? What do you want to share about it?

well u know one can say it was fair in the grand scheme of things, it was America through the CIA which overthrew a democratically elected prime minister in Iran, and then they put the puppet dicator shah in his place, so the American government had been interfering in Iranian affairs for the worst for a while, so it was only fair they got a spanking for it.

its strange though, ppl always talk about the embassy seizure, but no one likes to talk about all the crimes America commited in Iran and against the Iranian people prior to this embassy taking, as usual, America is always portrayed as the victim, and the mad Muslims or mad anti-American for no apparent reason decided to do something against America.
 
What is ironic is that the "student" leaders of the hostage crisis today want better relations with the West and are being persecuted by the current government.
