I have started pracising realte short amount of time and due to my new changed friend group (now muslims) they tend to give eachother reminders - before one person starts speaking they say something in arabic and something also in arabic when they finish - i was wondering if you guys could tell me what it is they say as i would love to learn and know its meaning.

GK guys

:w:

Could you possibly tell us what it sounds like or something? :? I'm sure then it would be easier for us to tell you :)

BTW May Allah bless you on your practising now alhamdulillah and may He keep it that way Ameen :)

Eid Mubarak!!

i think they are sending prayer to the prophet?

assalatu wassalam 3ala muhammad etc... something like that? (i dont know how it goes..)

thats means something like 'prayers and peace on the prophet' i think :?

Before they start speaking they tell something in Arabic.

So it could be "assalaamu'alaykum"

When they finish they say something in Arabic.

So it could be "ma'assalaam"

something like that - i think the final thing they say before they start they say 'ummah baad' - just the stuff before it i dont know

As Salaamu Alaykum,

^^ that's what i was going to say the Khutbatul Haajat

... and for the ending : Subahaank Allaahumma Wa Bihamdika Ash-Hadu An Laa Ilaaha Illa Anta Astaghfiruka Wa Atuubu Ilayhi..

Amma Ba'd is what they say after the Opening.. it means Like "And to Conclude.."

Hope that helps InshaAllah!

Does it go something like....

"Alhamdulillahi wassalat wassalamu ala rasoolillah, Amma Ba'd" :? :)
