THE ART OF ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY

Arabic calligraphy is a genuine Islamic and Arabic art. It is, no doubt, the most important element of the Arabic legacy, as it is the pot wherein all Arab cultures, over succeeding generations, are merging to come up with such eternal heritage.

Its forms, however, differ, as Arabic calligraphy has surpassed the end of writing process itself to reach eternity in terms of design and styles; further becoming one of the outstanding features of Islamic arts, constituting the common denominator for all Arab and Islamic arts, either they were taking shapes of fixed buildings or mobile antiques. It was, also, used in photographing and mosques decorating, as there is not one Arab monument void of Arabic calligraphy art tang.

Ooo I have always been interested in arabic calligraphy. How does one get started?
 
wellcome back أميرة الليل{shorter in arabic;)} ,those sketchs are amaaaaaaaaaaazing:),the first group is written in Kufy style,and the last golden one is written in Thuluth style.very nice,aren't they????????;)

Oooohh. I have sum goody news.Mommy told me (this morning) that the prayer room for uni of warwick should be complete in march. But in february, two weeks will be taken (my two weeks) to do the calligraphy in the prayer room. Its going to be a lot of hard work....so, sis marias....wat u think of joining me or even other sisters?

Gosh!! Another thing on my mind OTHER THAN my revision. Khaiyr, its for the Prayer Room and InshAllah, Allah will be pleased with me.Ameen.

anyway, i am here to tell you that i am going to post some of my teachers works in The Arabic Calligraphy,but not now,in few days,insha Allah:) .
and then i will post some of my works :-\ as soon as i prepare them.
and i DO want you guys to tell me your opinion about them:nervous: ,i really do,OK.

hallo my sister, it is really nice to have you here with us,and if you really like the art of arabic calligraphy,and you learn it ,then you will be good at it.

Mashallah some real beautiful things here!!!!!My friend just brought a chineses calligraphy set and it turned out soooo miniture(brought from catalogue)
