I know that some of us here, including myself, are constantly trying to improve our Arabic vocabulary. In this game, somebody will post a word in Arabic, its transliteration in English letters, and the English meaning. The next poster will post a word that is somehow associated with the previous word. For example, if the first word is tree, the next person may post something that has to do with tree, such as grass, soil, or trunk, as long as the word is somehow associated with the previous word. Make sure you post the word in Arabic, its transliteration in English letters, and the English meaning.

**Note for transliteration: Some letters are similar when transliterating. For example seen and saad are both s sounds. Seen is a soft s and saad is a hard s, so take this into consideration when posting the transliteration.

Here is an example:

بصر baSar (eyesight or vision)

لسان lisaan (tongue)

Notice how I use a lowercase s to show a soft s and a capital S to show a hard s.

This makes it easier to understand the word and makes it so that people wouldn't easily confuse a word for another word.

Sister, I thought عقل means mind and ذكاء means intelligence.

I could be wrong. Anyhow, they are similar, so I can see how one of us might have made a mistake with that.

Next: دماغ dimaagh (brain)

You right sis, my mistake. I'll correct it now.

Next: رأس head
