Writers, I’d love to hear from you ✨

What’s the one thing you struggle with most right now?
And what topics would you actually want to read in a “how to write” book?

Examples to spark thoughts:

• Starting when you feel stuck

• Finishing without burnout

• Writing consistently without pressure

• Dealing with self-doubt

• Finding your voice

• Editing without hating your work

• Building a small, sustainable routine

Reply with your biggest struggle + the one topic you wish existed in a gentle, kind writing book.

Hi Muhaba!
I have been busy writing a humourous anthropomorphic, youth and young-adult novel about the various bird characters, of my fictitious estate in Victorian England.

The book started out splendidly indeed, alas by chapter 16, my family members had no more interest in my story at all, and I hit bottom.

I was out of new ideas to end this A5 book with 30 chapters, so that my readers would get their money's worth. After all, my book must indeed sell for 20 €.

And I was in serious doubt if my story about kindness, decourum, civility, sharing, and the resolution of disputes, would even sell in today's Market.

Due to tax and customs laws, I also have to print my book on German soil, by a PoD here, but it will only sell in the UK. Alas, all the added costs could cost me 1000 € to get it printed, and then what?

I stopped writing on the 25th of February 2026, and have not turned my notebook on since. (By the way, I have my manuscript set up with Libre Writer 25.8.2.) I still have to insert my water-colour images of my characters. But the various technical standards for that, are a nightmare for me.

So these are my main issues.
I would be very grateful for your kind input on this.

As Salaamu Alaykum!
