And, the below question made me wonder if these are really artworks of prisoners or are they still being tortured in the name of US national security, and this is a ploy to make us believe that they are ok. OK, am I missing something here? I thought Muslims were not suposed to depict any kind of living thing in their artwork. That is why on all the beautiful tyle work and other decoration of houses and buildings there are only geometric patterns. No people, no animals, no flowers, nothing that would resemble things that man used in his everyday life. Was I miss informed?

They are misinformed. Drawings of inanimate beings are allowed.
AFAIK, even the green carpet at rawdah inside masjid nabawwi has the pattern of vines and flowers.

OK, so I just watched that video. The attackers of the masjids were Shias, correct? It never said in the video who the attackers were. I hope everyone is OK. That last guy looked really shaken up.

those leaders and their western counterparts are made of the same cloth.. The west might feign not wanting them but believe me when I tell you, I was just there where the protests are, and there are people sent to ensure that the same type leadership and same ideology remains controlling the masses.. It doesn't matter if it is Hosni Mubarak or mighty mouse just so long as it carries the western agenda for that region!

That would not surprise me at all, sister. I know a lot of people here (myself included for a while; this was before I was Muslim) were worried that the Muslim Brotherhood would take power in the absence of Mubarak.

What happened in Bahrain was good, the Rafidha were uprising to seek control backed by Iranian Mut'ah loving Ayatollahs..

Salaam,

What happened in Bahrain was terrible. Civilians have been killed and tortured.

The protests in Bahrain is not backed by the Iranians.

^ Misunderstanding Bahrain's Shia Protesters

InshaAllah if I have free time in future I will dedicate a thread to expose the realtity in Bahrain protests.

Sounds interesting.

Ameen to the du3a..
I had three disturbing dreams about KSA.. one dream I was in Makkah in time for pilgrimage and all the ground was covered with the American eagle and the Saudi flag which I wanted to remove so people won't step with their feet on la illah ila Allah,
and the last dream was the worse of all, where the people of Saudi Arabia were standing on the streets in protest of the ruling party, and all of a sudden these scantily clad foreigners from England and other western countries with would turn on the radio with Quranic recitations to drown the voices of the people and to make them believe that they have no right to protest..

Sister, it is so amazing to read your post because I've had some similar dreams too about kaaba ( not the with english men and all but some thought provoking ones) and when I searched about the meanings of these dreams, as I had them a couple of times, I found that who ever sees the kaaba in their dreams, gets to see the khalifa-e waqt in their lifeteimes... Only Allah swt knows the best interpretation though but you may have read that the imam-e mahdi is to appear in kaaba when there will be blood shed in it.. But inshAllah it is also in hadith that non-muslims shall never be able to cross makkah and madinah as huge angels will be standing at their entrances for their protection.

A few weeks ago I dreamed that I was praying alone before the Kaaba and many others gradually came to pray with me, but they lined up beside me and not behind me.

" diverging from the topic, but that sounds like a very nice dream mashAllah, lucky you "

Sob7an Allah, the second dream which I didn't mention here was of the streets of Jeddah being drowned in water.. I don't know what to make of said dreams but I felt the first and last one were self-explanatory until you shed some light on them.. khyer insha'Allah

Masha'Allah akhi that is such a profound dream...
may Allah swt east our affairs..

I just need to mention that I am not a pious or a religious person but I am trying so hard and I always fail miserably-- so I wouldn't take my dreams as if they were prophetic in any way..

jazakoum Allah khyran
